Jesse Foppert
Jesse Foppert grew up playing baseball in Marin County. He played in the San Rafael Little League and at San Rafael High School, and then went on to star at the University of San Francisco earning Pitcher of the Year, Player of the Year and Male Athlete of the Year before being selected in the 2nd round by the San Francisco Giants in the 2001 MLB amateur draft. After nearly 10 years with the Giants, Marlins and Mariners, Jesse came back to Marin County to coach at Marin Catholic High School. “I love working where I grew up and passing along the baseball knowledge and life skills that I learned over the years from my many teammates and coaches.”
Allan Kunst
Allan Kunst was born and raised in Novato and played for the Bombers when he was 13-14. Allan played 2B and SS at Marin Catholic high school and went on to play at Cal Lutheran University. With his father being one of the 3 founding members of the Bombers and his brother coaching in the organization as well, Allan is excited to be in his 2nd year coaching for the Bombers that has been so influential in his family and in his baseball career.
Jeff Osher
Jeff Osher grew up in Cincinnati, where he played 3 sports in high school and was twice selected as Miami Valley Conference 1st team in baseball. Jeff has been coaching youth baseball since 2014 and joined the Bombers in 2019. His teams have won numerous Majors Championships including the NCTB Fall State Championship, USSSA Championship Series, and NCS All World Ring Series, while making final four appearances at the Triple Crown World Series and the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament.
Brandon Buckley
Brandon Buckley was born and raised in Marin County. Brandon played for the Bombers from ages 11-14. He then went on to play baseball at Marin Catholic and Santa Clara University. This is Brandon's second full year coaching with the Bombers and excited to continue to be apart of the organization he grew up playing for.
Alex Boeri
Alex is a Marin native and attended Redwood High School. He went on to play at Shortstop at College of Marin and Wright State University. He is in his second year coaching with the Bombers and is the head coach of the 12U team. He currently runs a Wealth Management firm, Miller Avenue Advisors, in Mill Valley.
Matthew Tarantino
Matthew has come full circle with the Bombers Organization, as a player on the very first Bombers team and now as a coach. In high school, Matthew attended Marin Catholic where he was a 3 year varsity starter. He went on to play 4 years of collegiate baseball with his first two years at College of Marin and final two at the University of Pacific. Matthew is excited to share his knowledge and experience of the game with the next generation of ball players.
Chris Rosenbery
Chris Rosenbery has been coaching youth players for over 25 years. He began coaching travel ball in 2002 with the North Bay Xtreme. He joined the Bombers Baseball Club in 2008. In his time with the the Bombers, his teams have competed at the highest levels, including an appearance in the finals at the XDS World Series in San Diego, final four appearances in both the Triple Crown World Series and Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament and a Championship trophy at the Triple Crown 4th of July National in Reno.
Matt Sytkowski
Matt Sytkowski grew up playing baseball in the East Bay. He was a standout on the diamond at De La Salle HS and then went on to play at St. Mary’s College. Matt has been a coach in the Bombers organization for over 12 years and was one of the pioneers of the programs first team back in 2006. Matt does a fantastic job preparing our 13 and 14U groups for high school baseball.
Chris Untermann
Chris Untermann played 3 sports at San Rafael High School and was inducted into the MCAL Hall of Fame in 2019. He attended UC Davis and came back to coach at his alma mater for several years before turning his attention to coaching his 3 boys who all play for the Bombers. He is thrilled to be a coach in the program that has helped his kids succeed not only on the diamond, but off the field as well.
Tyler Walker
Tyler was the Mets second round pick in the 1997 MLB draft out of Cal. Tyler went on to play 14 seasons professionally. He pitched for the Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Nationals. He is one of nine natives of San Francisco to ever play for the Giants. At the Major League level, Tyler appeared as a pitcher in 286 games (one start) and logged 299.2 innings with a record of 23-18 with 34 saves and 4.23 ERA. He was also a member of the 2009 National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies. He is currently the Director of Leasing and Investor Relations for A&C Ventures.
